$100k - $120k (depending on experience) / plus bonus
A high end Public relations firm based in NYC that services very prestigious luxury brands is seeking a Controller (stand-alone/ no reports). The position requires 3 days in office. The company offers great work life balance and the opportunity to drive the business both strategically and financially. The role includes being responsible for the day to day accounting operations. This includes heavy cash management, invoicing as well as paying all operating costs. In addition, the Controller will also be responsible for providing various analytics to the owners about the business at both the corporate level as well as at the project level ( ie. client finance ) . The office environment is very creative, and the ideal person would be someone who finds this environment appealing and enjoys providing guidance to individuals who need leadership on financial information and processes. There are opportunities to improve processes but can be done at a manageable pace. A strong accounting background, preferably someone who has worked in a stand- alone environment, is very proficient with QuickBooks and Excel (required).
