What are the responsibilities and job description for the Purchasing Analyst position at LHH?
LHH is working a supplier in Grand Prairie, TX 75050 that is seeking a Purchasing Analyst for Direct Hire.
100% onsite M-F 8a to 5p
Salary Range: 65k to 80k
Purchasing split between two business lines
1. Just in time purchasing based on sales orders w/ varying lead times from 8 weeks to much longer term
2. Maintaining inventory for a value added service line (can be shipped immediately)
This role will require quite a bit of manual forecasting utilizing historical data particularly to manage purchases for the value added services line.
Software skills needed - Need to be able to do VLOOKUPS and PIVOT TABLES and then some combination of the below:
Microsoft Dynamics
Power BI
Python
Degree is required
Manufacturing or aviation/aerospace is preferable but anyone with manual forecasting expeirence and the software experience could be a good fit
This role will require quite a bit of analysis and taking control of current process and procedures and improving upon them and identifying if additional resources are needed.
Salary : $65,000 - $80,000
