What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Manager position at LHH?
LHH is actively seeking a Manager of Quality for a manufacturing company located in the Elk Grove Village area. This role is responsible for verifying raw material quality as well as finished product quality and will be leading a team of technicians. This is an ONSITE opportunity.
The primary responsibilities for this role include
- Create and implement testing procedures, quality standards, and required documentation
- Work interdepartmentally to ensure finished goods meet customer standards and specifications
- Problem solve and root cause analysis of rejections
- Leading a team, including hiring, scheduling, performance management, and training and development
- Lead internal audits
- Prepare departmental reports for upper management
- Work interdepartmentally on new product development
- Additional duties as needed
The ideal candidate profile will have the following qualifications
- 5 years of Quality experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Highly analytical
- Experience leading a team
- High attention to detail
- Automotive experience preferred
- Bilingual Spanish
Salary : $100,000 - $117,000
