Job Description : We are seeking a highly skilled RF and Power Microwave Design Engineer to join our team in Rancho Cordova. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing power amplifiers and working with high-frequency, high-power components. This role involves both new product design and updates to existing designs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and develop RF and microwave power amplifiers.
- Work with digital circuitry, including splitters and combiners, to amplify signals.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to integrate components into larger systems.
- Perform engineering changes and updates to existing designs.
- Ensure designs meet high-frequency, high-power specifications.
- Utilize HFSS software for design and simulation.
- Work closely with manufacturing to address and resolve any production issues.
- Design RF & Microwave assemblies, analog circuits, power supplies, and other components used in high-power, solid-state amplifiers and amplifier systems.
- Develop functional specifications for RF power amplifiers and amplifier systems.
- Perform RF budget (cascade) analysis.
- Lead projects to on-time completion of deliverables.
- Assist in customer proposal development and prepare technical presentations.
