What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant - Long Term Contract position at LHH?
LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a client in the technology industry that is looking to bring on a Senior Accountant for a long term project that would run close to a year and a half. The company is in the process of integrating a couple of newly acquired companies and implementing a new ERP system. The company is on a hybrid schedule and the person taking on this role would be handling the following duties:
Responsibilities
- Assist with the month end close (balance sheet reconciliations, inter-company reconciliations, and journal entry preparation)
- Fixed asset accounting
- Assist with the ERP implementation (data testing and validation)
- Set up monthly accruals
- Assist with monthly analysis and schedules for the monthly reporting package
- Assist with process documentation and process implementation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in accounting or finance is required
- CPA or MBA is desired
- 4 years of month end close experience is desired
- Prior experience with inter-company reconciliations is desired
- Prior experience with and ERP implementation is desired
- Excellent communication and attention to detail is required
