Senior Accountant
LHH is looking for experienced Senior Accountants. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, and providing insightful analysis to support our business decisions. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing
- Conduct variance analysis and provide detailed explanations for budget discrepancies
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, offering insights to support strategic planning
- Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation for audits
- Monitor and improve internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Mentor and support junior accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
