LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with an organization located in Middlesex, NJ looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join the finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records and supervise transactional accountants. This is a hybrid role and the client is open to candidates from all industries.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the month-end close process with precision and efficiency, including timelines and checklists.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements.
- Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
- Implement and maintain strong internal controls.
- Collaborate with the Controller in the preparation and submission of tax returns, ensuring compliance with all applicable tax regulations.
- Assist external auditors during the audit process, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic planning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA preferred or on track.
- Experience with ERP systems
- Proficiency in Excel
Compensation:
$90,000-$110,000 (Depending on level and experience)
