What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Financial Analyst position at LHH?
LHH is partnering with a reputable organization in the media space to support their need for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team on a 3 month contract basis. This position will require some in-office work in New York, NY.
Primary Functions:
- Perform budget v. actual variance analysis and include commentary for the senior management team
- Manage monthly financial activity to ensure compliance
- Prepare, consolidate and analyze P&Ls across various departments
- Participate in re-forecasting quarterly
- Perform cash flow analysis
- Provide ad-hoc analytical support as needed
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required
- 3 years of experience in an Analyst role
- Strong Excel skills including pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment
Compensation: $38 - $50/hr, depending on experience.
