Role Overview
As a Contract Senior Finance Analyst specializing in Financial Reporting & Analysis, your key responsibility will be to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports. You will handle data pre-consolidation, validation, and reporting, and provide insightful final comments and presentations. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with IT and accounting teams to facilitate system testing and updates, ensuring seamless monthly and forecast submissions.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting
- Prepare and update monthly reports ahead of close week and for RF submissions.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring all checks are addressed before deadlines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Polaris monthly and RF submissions.
- Assist with audit requests.
- Verify and distribute final management reports to the finance community for PR USA and PR North America.
- Draft monthly commentaries for the group.
- Contribute to key presentations for CODI and HQ teams (monthly pack, QBR, QIM…).
- Communicate timelines, deadlines, expectations, and key deliverables effectively.
- Review and analyze the standard cost of goods sold.
- Work with IT and Operation Excellence teams on transformation initiatives, ensuring systems are operational and properly tested for smooth reporting cycles.
Qualifications
Experience / Background:
- At least 3 years of experience in financial reporting, planning, and analysis with a proven track record of career progression.
- Public Accounting with an emphasis on SEC Global Registrants in the manufacturing and distribution industries
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with Hyperion Essbase is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of basic to advanced accounting principles is advantageous.
