Senior Human Resources Coordinator
Location: Bethesda, MD (Hybrid)
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Job Summary: Our client in Bethesda, MD, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Human Resources Coordinator to join their team on a temp to hire basis. This key role will support a variety of HR functions, including immigration/visa work, employee relations, HRIS management, benefits administration, and HR initiatives. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing exceptional HR support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle employee relations matters, providing guidance and support to employees and management on a wide range of issues.
- Manage non-exempt employee processes, including timekeeping, payroll, and compliance with labor laws.
- Oversee the HRIS system, ensuring accurate data management and reporting.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health, wellness, and retirement plans.
- Lead and support various HR initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Provide support for other HR functions and special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of proven experience as an HR Coordinator or HR Generalist.
- HR Certification or Degree
- Experience in employee relations and handling non-exempt employee matters.
- Proficiency in HRIS management and data reporting.
- Knowledge of benefits administration and HR initiatives.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
