You'll play a key role in managing both corporate and property-specific accounting functions for our expanding portfolio. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including accrual postings and detailed property accounting reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts, focusing on property-specific transactions.
- Assist in creating budgets and financial forecasts, incorporating property performance metrics.
- Ensure adherence to relevant tax regulations, industry standards, and property-specific accounting guidelines.
- Collaborate with property managers to address financial queries and issues, offering technical accounting support.
- Oversee tenant billing and collections, including rent, utilities, CAM, escalations and other charges, with an emphasis on property accounting systems.
- Monitor and manage property cash flows and funding requirements using advanced financial software.
- Support internal and external audit processes, focusing on property accounting compliance.
- Implement and maintain technical accounting systems and software for property management.
