What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Cost Accountant position at LHH?
LHH has an immediate need for a Sr. Cost Accountant for one of our clients near Summersville, WV. This position is onsite with some flexibility, but the candidate must live within 30 miles of the plant. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cost accounting in a manufacturing environment. Qualifications and Requirements:
- BS in Accounting, Finance, or similar field
- 5 years of experience with average costing, inventory, and reconciliations
- Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and purchase price variance
- Manage month end close, general ledger and journal entries, and R & D capitalization
- Strong technical skills with Excel and Epicor
