LHH is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Staff Accountant to work at one of our clients in San Diego. This position will report directly to the CEO and oversee an Accounting Specialist. Responsibilities of the Sr Staff Accountant include:
- Oversee and update the financial records and general ledger.
- Handle processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports.
- Conduct account reconciliations and own the month-end close process.
- Provide support for audits and tax filings.
- Preparation of financial reports and budgets.
- Manage one Accounting Specialist.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in Accounting.
- Experienced with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
