LHH is recruiting on a Supervising Senior Accountant position with an organization in Carrollton, TX. The salary range for this position is 100k-110k, plus performance bonus and offers a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and review of journal entries
- Prepare various types of reconciliations and ensure that the different balances are correct
- Partner with both internal and external auditors
- Work with various different business units and assist with troubleshooting processes where necessary
- Ensure GAAP compliance is met and maintained
- Prepare financial reporting packages for upper-level management
- Complete various ad-hoc projects when necessary
- Indirectly supervise a team of more junior-level members.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA or CPA candidate is a plus
- 5-7 years' of working experience within public accounting or indusry
- Advanced skills within Excel as well as previous working experience
- Proficient verbal and written communication
