LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a thriving manufacturing company in the Kansas City area seeking to directly hire a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain Manager in the 1st quarter. Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the entire supply chain process, including procurement, production planning, inventory management, and logistics.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure the best terms and conditions.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to supply chain operations.
- Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Manage the budget for the supply chain department and ensure cost-effective operations.
- Utilize supply chain management software and tools to streamline processes and enhance data accuracy.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is highly preferred. Commensurate professional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a people management role within the supply chain function.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain best practices, logistics, and inventory management.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
