I am currently working with a leading boutique law firm, who are actively looking to recruit an Attorney who specializes in tax to join their Chicago office.
Key Responsibilities:
- This role will assist with a broad array of matters, including sophisticated and complex tax cases.
- Work with a variety of national and international clients to develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize their financial positions.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws.
- Offer advice on fund formation, investment management transactions and partnership taxation.
- You will also be given the opportunity to assist with mergers & acquisitions and divestitures, as well as representing buyers and sellers in transaction tax matters.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a leading accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar of Missouri.
- 5 year(s) of experience in tax law, ideally gained with a large law firm setting.
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills.

Salary : $180,000 - $250,000
