Our client is seeking a Tax Senior with a background in Public Accounting to join their expanding team. This role is perfect for someone looking to advance their career in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in tax preparation and compliance, and be actively working towards or have completed their CPA certification.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts.
- Conduct tax research and provide technical guidance on various tax issues.
- Assist in tax planning and strategy development to optimize tax positions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information and provide exceptional service.
- Mentor and train junior staff members.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- 2-4 years' of Public and/or Internal Corporate accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
- CPA or CPA track preferred
