Territory Sales Representative

Compensation: $70,000 – $77,000 base salary bonus

About the Role:
LHH is partnering with our client to search for a Territory Sales Representative who will be responsible for executing customized sales and merchandising programs across retail accounts. This role is pivotal in driving sales growth through strategic account management, business insights, and a consultative selling approach. You’ll manage your own territory, travel regularly (25%–75%, averaging 1–3 nights/week), and use your judgment to shape and implement impactful retail strategies.
What You’ll Do:
- Creating and executing sales plans tailored to individual retail accounts based on sales data and customer prioritization.
- Analyze program effectiveness and local market dynamics to identify sales opportunities and influence future planning.
- Apply an advanced consultative sales approach (“Double Win”) to negotiate and align product offerings with retailer needs.
- Ensure correct product placement, pricing, and availability while supporting retailers with merchandising and inventory management.
- Track performance metrics, manage reporting tools like Synergy, and consistently evaluate areas for improvement.
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma required; additional education a plus
- 3 years of experience in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sales
- Strong selling, negotiation, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort with sales reporting platforms (e.g., Synergy)
- Analytical mindset and ability to use insights to drive performance
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs., climb step ladders, and occasionally perform light physical tasks
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be comfortable with regular regional travel
