Job Description
This role involves performing various duties to maintain equipment efficiency and safety standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to minimize downtime and optimize production.
- Conducting regular inspections and cleaning of railcars to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Operating front-end loaders and bobcats for cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Operating end dump trucks and oil treatment systems to support the production process.
- Completing daily equipment checks and submitting reports to management.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures.
- Providing on-the-job training and verifying completion of training programs.
- Collaborating with other utility and plant operators to achieve common goals.
In addition to these key responsibilities, you will also be required to:
- Clean areas under conveyor belts and around dry plants to maintain a safe working environment.
- Meet physical demands including heights, confined spaces, and varied working conditions.
This role requires previous experience in heavy manufacturing and/or mining. Authorization to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment.
