We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Business Development Manager to drive sales growth for our Test Systems and Test Services offerings.. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development within the engineering services / engineering consulting industry. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving the company's growth through strategic planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities :
- Market Analysis : Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and business opportunities within the engineering services / consulting sector
- Lead Generation : Develop and implement strategies for generating new leads and expanding the client base
- Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
- Proposal Development : Prepare detailed technical proposals, presentations, and RFP responses that effectively communicate our services and value proposition to audiences ranging from engineers to senior leadership
- Sales Strategy : Work with Director of Sales, Engineering, and the Leadership Team to develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth
- Networking : Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to increase visibility and establish connections
- Collaboration : Work closely with the engineering, project management, and leadership teams to ensure client requirements are met and projects are successfully delivered
- Performance Tracking : Monitor and report on sales performance, market trends, and client feedback to inform business strategy
- Contract Negotiation : Lead contract negotiations with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements are reached
