Facilities Technician Li Industries, Inc. – Charlotte Metropolitan Area
We are a start-up focused on improving the environmental impact of batteries through innovative recycling processes for battery materials. We are looking for hands-on facilities and administrative personnel to support facilities maintenance and operation. This position is the first line of communication within the company and the right candidate must act in a highly professional and enthusiastic manner. This position must successfully manage multiple priorities in a calm, collected, professional manner and think efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform facility maintenance and upkeep, including plumbing, HVAC, general housekeeping, etc.
- Support shipping and receiving operations
- Maintain facility supply inventory
- Collaborate with property management and vendors to ensure proper building maintenance
- Assist Emergency Services as needed
- Other projects as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3 years of progressive facilities and machine maintenance experience to include:
o HVAC, Plumbing, Carpentry, etc.
- OSHA 30 Certification (or obtained during the first month of employment)
- Strong work ethic with excellent attendance; must be on-time and reliable
- General understanding of basic administrative support requests, formats, procedures, etc.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and strong customer focus
- Must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication in English
- Must display a high degree of professionalism (i.e., office image and dress) with a positive approach; demonstrated ability to interact professionally and effectively with diverse group of people
- Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and office equipment
- Team player with ability to work independently under general supervision; self-starter that possesses a sense of urgency Detail-oriented with strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement
- Demonstrated ability to process information quickly and successfully manage multiple priorities in fast-paced, high-volume environment

- US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking
- Must be able to lift to fifty pounds at times
- Must be able to bend, lift, stretch, climb, and crawl to perform building and equipment maintenance Must be able to perform work in a variety of weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications/Skills:
- Valid First Aid/CPR Certification
- Forklift Certification
- Electrician/Plumbing/HVAC License
- Familiar with ISO45001, 5S, and other manufacturing standards
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
