Food Runner

Job Overview
Li's Hot Pot & BBQ is seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced All You Cant Eat, Hot Pot and KBBQ restaurant. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. You will work closely with the kitchen staff and servers to deliver high-quality food while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and guest service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all orders are accurate and meet presentation standards before serving.
• Assist servers with setting up tables and preparing for service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including clearing tables and resetting for new guests.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding any special requests or dietary restrictions from guests.
• Support the team during peak hours by helping with food preparation and assisting in other areas as needed.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure guest satisfaction.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, but not required.
• Familiarity with Point of Sales systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and standards is essential.
• Experience in hotpot and/or KBBQ settings is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are necessary for providing excellent guest services.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: From $16.09 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
