What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitchen Manager position at Libertee Grounds?
Libertee Grounds, Philly's hyperlocal craft beer & cocktail bar with Asian inspired bar eats and indoor mini golf is gearing up for a fun spring & summer! We are seeking a Kitchen Manager who can assist our Chef Owner and Food & Beverage Manager on running the kitchen.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE IS SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTANDS AND CAN EXECUTE BOTH PREP & LINE ROLES WITHIN THE KITCHEN & CAN CALL OUT TICKETS AND LEAD THE KITCHEN LINE DURING RUSHES.
To be clear, this position is not for a Head Chef. The Kitchen Manager should have experience in cooking and formal Chef training is a plus but the Chef Owner will lead efforts when it comes to new menu items.
Our Asian American menu showcases authentic Asian plates and adapting pieces to shine in a bar setting. Candidates who are vocal and who can execute quality and control standards are encouraged to apply as we grow our dedicated, passionate and welcoming team.
We host many private events which include plated & buffet style catering. The Kitchen Manager will need to make sure that catering for these events go out smoothly during regular service.
