Position Summary:
The Logistics Support Coordinator is a dynamic and versatile support role responsible for overseeing and streamlining various functions within the Liberty Alliance team. This position requires the ability to independently plan, prioritize, and execute complex logistical functions while exercising discretion and judgment in decision-making. POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (provide details/description, key tasks):

Duties:
Collaborate with the Sr. Logistics Manager: In developing and executing logistical plans for on and off-site events, including event space optimization, catering arrangements, IT/AV requirements, and participant registration. - Event Coordination: Independently manage the logistics for events, including venue selection, contract negotiation, and scheduling, ensuring seamless execution of all operational aspects.
- Logistics Support: Direct and oversee shipping, receiving, and inventory management processes, ensuring accurate and efficient handling of materials and assets.
- Establish and refine logistical workflows, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to optimize operational efficiency.
- Facility and Asset Managment: Coordinate and oversee the shipment and relocation of company assets, including the movement of equipment and materials, while ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
- Develop maintenance schedules and provide recommendations for improving facility operations across multiple locations.
- Administrative Duties: Serve as the primary contact for incoming inquiries and provide professional front-desk support as needed, ensuring smooth communication and operational continuity.
- Define and maintain administrative systems to support logistics and event operations.
- Security Compliance: Maintain eligibility for a DoD Security Clearance and monitor adherence to confidentiality standards in all aspects of operations.
- Responsible for other duties assigned for mission requirements and variations.
- Lend assistance to team members as needed to accomplish leadership objectives.
- Completes all other tasks and duties as needed to help drive Liberty Alliance’s Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by our organization’s values.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma (associate or bachelor's degree preferred).
- Proven ability to work independently and exercise judgment in decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with logistical operations, event planning, or related fields.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage multple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time (domestic), and some possible international travel to support offiste meetings, events, and other operational needs.
- Knowledge and previous experience utilizing hand an power tools.
- 30% of the time and successfully pass a background check.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Exposure to indoor and outdoor settings.
