Scheduling Coordinator
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Reports To: Supervising Scheduling Coordinator
Physical Requirements: General lifting, office environment.
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week. On-call, holiday work and additional hours as needed or assigned.
Pay Range: $24.90-$34.50
Job Summary:
The Scheduling Coordinator will have direct oversight of all department specific schedules to include scheduling and maintaining staff schedules and openings. The Scheduling Coordinator will also have direct oversight of all department specific relief staff.
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED is required; Associates degree in human services or related field or enrollment in an accredited degree program preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or related human services program is preferred.
- One year of supervisory experience required.
- Scheduling experience preferred.
- Valid NYS driver's license that meets agency standards and reliable transportation
- Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
Major Responsibilities:
- Oversee department schedules to ensure adequate staffing.
- Manage relief employees in the assigned region and program, including overtime and overtime justifications.
- Provide supervision and coordinate schedules for Floaters and Relief staff.
- Performs direct support duties as needed, this varies and is dependent upon site assignment.
- Develop regular scheduled meetings with assigned staff.
- Confirm schedule changes with staff and manager.
- Attend regular meetings including scheduling meetings, on-call regional meetings and others as assigned.
- Work collectively with other departments/schedulers to manage staffing resources.
- Ensure assigned staff receive trainings, updates, and med pours as assigned.
- Work collaboratively with Coordinators/Managers and Assistant Directors for time off approvals.
