Summary: The Fitness Floor Manager is responsible for ensuring that the club delivers high quality fitness experiences to all members.
The Fitness Floor Manager leads by example to train and develop a strong team of first responders. The Fitness Floor Manager is responsible for communicating and upholding company standards and core values to consistently achieve club-wide goals.
Essential Functions:
Leadership, Management, and Accountability
· Ensure first responder team members consistently execute the basics in punctuality, dress code compliance, friendliness, and cleanliness.
· Monitor the fitness floor, enforce club policies, and age restrictions.
· Manage the first responder team members. Provide clear and consistent, and professional communication on job functions and protocols and hold team accountable for outcomes.
· Conduct performance assessments for the first responder team members. Ensure the Director has reviewed the performance assessments prior to being given.
· Conduct quarterly team meetings with the first responders team members.
· Directly responsible for establishing the first responder schedule and facilitating coverage when needed.
· Recruit and onboard first responders and train new team members.
· Develop first responder team members and provide resources for staff development. Routinely engage with team members to remain curious and ensure positive job performance and satisfaction.
· Assist the Director of Fitness with administrative tasks, but not limited to: Track the NMPT performance, send NMPT emails, provide NMPT follow up emails on experience, monthly, quarterly Myzone reports and various fitness reporting.
· Monitor fitness supplies and Myzone inventory, fitness wipes, hand sanitizer, etc. Accountable for purchasing fitness wipes, Myzone, other items TBD.
· Perform quality checks on the interior spaces of the building, with specific attention to the main fitness floor, studio spaces, selectorized equipment, wellness studio, and berm space.
· Learn and troubleshoot routine maintenance on fitness equipment and submit repairs to Fitness Director and/or Maintenance Technician with copying Fitness Director.
· Maintain and clean equipment and accurately record in the equipment log.
· Responsible for employee communication and training on late night USTA/league tennis matches.
· When necessary, assist the Facilities department with fitness floor and group fitness studio towels.
· Meet biweekly with Fitness Director.
· Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
· Strong technical knowledge of fitness equipment.
· Knowledge of cleaning techniques and supplies.
· Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
· Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy loads.
· Keep up to date with industry trends and advancements in fitness equipment technology.
· Computer literacy, ability to develop various reports, fitness reporting, etc.
· Current CPR/AED certification.
· Varied hours including weekend, evening, and holiday rotations.
