Automotive Sales Porter

SUMMARY

Responsible for moving vehicles within the auto group, picking up and dropping off dealer trades, customers, and customer vehicles while assisting the sales and service departments with various duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Essential duties include the following. Other duties or tasks may be assigned.

• Transport cars between Liberty stores.
• Pick up dealer trades from other dealerships.
• Deliver vehicles to customer's desired locations.
• Pick up and drop off customers and or customer vehicles for service or collision center.
• Drive vehicles to different areas of the dealership as directed by management.
• Pick up and drop off fleet service account vehicles.
• Follows all company safety policies and procedures and immediately reports all accidents to a manager.
• Maintain a clean driving record
• Obey all traffic laws and regulations
• Conduct conversations/interactions with co-workers and vendors professionally and courteously.

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Must have a valid driver’s license with a company-acceptable driving record
• Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
• Must be able to operate both standard and automatic vehicles
• Ability to communicate well orally and in writing with customers, vendors, and other contacts
• Must maintain a professional appearance

EDUCATION

• High School diploma or GED

EXPERIENCE

• Previous customer service in any industry preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Walking, standing, sitting for 1 to 4 hours in a shift.
• Bending, stretching, lifting, reaching and climbing.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Possess physical and manual dexterity.
