This is a 10 week Summer Internship, with Full-Time Hours located on-site in Middletown, CT
SUMMARY OF THE JOB:
The Owners Bank team is looking for an enthusiastic Digital Banking Marketing Intern. In this collaborative, entry-level role, you will get a chance to learn important skills and gain professional experience by working on social media campaigns with our digital marketing team. Our ideal intern candidate has graphic design skills to produce high-quality content for social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. Applicants will conduct competitive research and gain experience building executive level reporting and summaries.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Digital bank competitive research and reporting
Build executive summaries with competitive data including marketing examples and product offerings
Maintain and build social media calendar for Owners Bank with content ideas using Sprout Social software
Create weekly social media content for Owners Bank using high-quality graphic design skills and animated videos with Canva
Review and report on social media activity – impressions, clicks, engagement
Research and provide recommendations on small business home shows and trade shows in key markets for Owners Bank in 2024 and 2025
Attend meetings with marketing agency and Owners Bank team as needed
Minimum knowledge/skills:
Experience using Adobe Photoshop or Canva
Knowledge of Meta Business Manager and LinkedIn
Graphic design skills
Computer skills including PowerPoint and excel
