This is a 10-week Summer Internship, with Full-Time Hours located on-site in Middletown, CT
SUMMARY OF THE JOB:
The Marketing Intern will support social media content planning and creation a (including graphics and videos), social media community management, website content support, graphic design and event planning. In this hands-on role, you will be an active in planning new content, and the content you create will be shared on Liberty Bank’s brand accounts on Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn and X/Twitter. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with teammates from around the Bank and visit various locations. In addition, you will have the opportunity to participate in meetings with the Bank’s adverting agency and gain exposure to a wide range of marketing functions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The Internship offers exposure in the following areas of Marketing:
Social media content planning and creation
Social media community management
Social media analytics
Website content management
Graphic design
Event support
Participate in cross departmental Intern project
Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Junior or Senior pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator (Samples are a plus)
Familiarity with social media including Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn and X/Twitter; experience managing a business account a plus
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize workload
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
