Liberty Community Programs is in search of a dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The Security Guard plays a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our facilities, staff, clients, and visitors. You will be tasked with monitoring premises, conducting patrols, and ensuring a safe environment for all. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, a calm demeanor in emergencies, and a commitment to providing excellent service in a variety of situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and other criminal activities.
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other individuals to maintain security.
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbance calls, and emergencies, following established protocols.
- Prepare incident reports and maintain logs of daily activities and observations.
- Support clients and staff while ensuring compliance with safety policies.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement as needed in the event of incidents or emergencies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a security role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of first aid and CPR is a plus.
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
