What are the responsibilities and job description for the After-School MS ELA Tutoring Positions – Grades 5-8- INTERNAL position at Liberty Central School Office?
We are seeking dedicated educators to provide targeted instruction for students preparing for the NYS ELA Assessment. This after-school tutoring program will focus on comprehension, as well as extended and constructed response instruction.

- Grades: 5, 6, 7, and 8
- Schedule: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays (3 hours per week)
- Duration: 4 weeks (March 3, 2025 – March 24, 2025)
- Group Size: Maximum of 8 students per group
- Grades 5 & 6: 7-12 Elementary certified or SPED certified for these grade levels (Reading certification preferred)
- Grades 7 & 8: English certified or SPED certified (Reading certification preferred)
- Teaching Time: 12 hours per teacher
- Prep Time: 6 hours per teacher
