What are the responsibilities and job description for the Admissions Coordinator position at Liberty Christian Academy?
Professional Responsibilities:It is expected that the Admissions Coordinator will:Admissions
Manage the new family/student admissions plan
Process new student applications
Coordinate scheduling of family meetings with administrative assistants
Maintain accurate and up-to-date enrollment records
Maintain wait lists
Complete student withdrawals as needed in FACTS SIS throughout the school year
Oversee campus visit program and follow-up with all inquiries and applicants
Report weekly on the progress of enrollment goals
Participate in new student orientation activities
Responsible for executing and carryout admissions events throughout the year
Performs other duties as assigned
Retention
Reach and/or exceed all of the retention goals
Encourage and facilitate the involvement of parents in the retention strategy
Present issues to the school leadership that impact retention
Report on the retention of students and families on a weekly basis to the leadership team
Facilitate the involvement of faculty and staff in the retention process
Required Professional Qualities
High School Diploma is required; an Associate's/Bachelor’s degree is preferred
2 years experience in admissions, student services, or campus operations
Excellent Knowledge of admissions/registration and student services processes
Excellent Presentation Skills
Flexibility and the ability to manage multiple tasks
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Outstanding organizational skills and ability to work with people, projects, and resources.
Demonstrate a reasonable level of computer literacy, having knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically Google Suite), creating and using a spreadsheet, e-mailing, managing databases, and accessing the Internet.
Ability to maintain security of confidential student records
