What are the responsibilities and job description for the Elementary Aide position at Liberty Christian Academy?
Job Responsibilities
Supervise children moving between classrooms, lunchroom, and the playground during lunch period, recess, and other assigned times.
Enforce lunchroom and playground rules.
Walk around lunch tables, providing assistance and discipline as needed.
Correct misbehavior and communicate this with the child’s teacher the same day.
Assist children with outerwear when needed.
Meet any visitors entering the playground and verify that they have school permission to be on campus.
Be attentive to students and alert to what is happening both physically and socially.
Administer basic first aid to children.
Required Professional Qualities:It is expected that the aide/extended care worker will:
Possess a high school diploma or GED.
Possess evidence of other adequate preparation, background, or experience as determined by the school administrator.
Obtain a current FBI/BCI background check.
