For the 2025-2026 school year, Liberty Christian Christian Prep seeks a dedicated and passionate Elementary Physical Education Teacher to provide a Christ-centered, engaging, and developmentally appropriate physical education program for elementary students. The ideal candidate will foster a love for movement, teamwork, and lifelong fitness while integrating biblical principles into instruction.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for overseeing and planning the afterschool elementary school athletic program.
* Instruction & Curriculum Development:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive physical education curriculum aligned with the school’s mission and physical education standards.
- Teach fundamental motor skills, sportsmanship, team-building, and healthy lifestyle habits.
- Integrate biblical principles and character development into daily lessons.
- Differentiate instruction to accommodate various skill levels and abilities.
* Classroom & Student Management:
- Create a safe, structured, and encouraging learning environment.
- Enforce rules and expectations that promote respect, teamwork, and self-discipline.
- Maintain equipment and ensure a clean, organized learning space.
* Assessment & Progress Monitoring:
- Assess students’ physical development, skill acquisition, and participation.
- Provide feedback to students and communicate progress to parents.
* Collaboration & School Involvement:
- Work with faculty to support cross-curricular learning initiatives.
- Assist with school-wide events, field days, and extracurricular sports programs.
- Participate in professional development and faculty meetings.
* Education & Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field (required).
- State teaching certification or FACCS certification (or willingness to obtain).
* Experience & Skills:
- Previous experience teaching elementary physical education (preferred).
- Strong classroom management skills and ability to motivate students.
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate physical activities.
- Ability to integrate faith into teaching and model Christian values.
* Spiritual & Personal Qualifications:
- A committed Christian with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Agreement with the school’s statement of faith and mission.
- Passion for Christian education and student development.

Pay: $48,000.00 per year
