Liberty Classical Schools seeks a full-time Head of Operations. The Head of Operations ensures the operational readiness of Liberty’s central office and its schools support the Mission and strategic plans. The Head of Operations reports to the Chief of Staff at LCS’s Atlanta office.
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Support to Campus Operations Directors at new and existing schools on matters related to safety, security, facilities: construction, maintenance, and repair, foodservice, front office, event scheduling, and carpool;
- Preliminary management of major facilities/construction projects at new and existing schools;
- Performance of campus-level Information Technology specialists; procurement, maintenance, and support for school- and central office IT systems;
- Operations support for LCS central office, including landlord relations, building systems maintenance (cleaning, climate, furniture, etc.), safety, and IT
- Preliminary owner of new school operational readiness until HoS and Ops Director are hired
- Advisor to Director of New Schools on suitability/feasibility of facilities / sites and projects required to launch a new school
- Comprehensive process documentation management (Whale software)
Qualified candidates will meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Ten plus years of related experience, preferably in school/education environment
