YOUR DAY TO DAY AS A MICHIGAN TITLE SPECIALIST
As a Full-Time Michigan Title Specialist at Liberty Core Consultants, you will leverage your thorough understanding of various conveyance documents and land-related contracts, including fee simple, rights-of-way, leases, easements, licenses, permits, and releases. Your role entails performing meticulous internal and external due diligence to ensure the accuracy and completeness of land rights while identifying deficiencies that require curative action. You will demonstrate your ability to organize and plan your workload effectively, adjusting to changing priorities while thriving under pressure.
With minimal supervision, you will utilize the established policies and procedures to guide your work, ensuring excellence in Title Research and Property Research. Your expertise will be instrumental in facilitating clear communication with clients and promoting seamless transactions in the real estate landscape.
MICHIGAN TITLE SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGER & SKILLS REQUIRED:
To thrive as a Full-Time Michigan Title Specialist at Liberty Core Consultants, you will need a robust skill set tailored to the intricacies of the Right of Way and Real Estate industry. A thorough knowledge of settlement instruments and contract terms will be essential, as well as the ability to read and interpret legal descriptions with precision. Proficiency in land title research within courthouse and government offices of record is critical, enabling you to prepare and analyze chains of title effectively. Your experience of at least three years in the industry, with a minimum of one year as a Title Agent, will equip you to identify potential issues in land rights. Additionally, you will be adept at utilizing spreadsheets to streamline and support various Real Estate efforts.
Combining these skills will empower you to manage due diligence processes confidently and contribute to the success of our customer-centric team.
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Knowledge of settlement instruments and contract terms.
- Through knowledge of how to read and interpret land legal descriptions.
- Proficient in land title research in courthouse and other government offices of record and be able to prepare chain of title.
- Prepare and utilize spreadsheets to support Real Estate efforts.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in the Right of Way/Real Estate industry with at least 1 year working in the capacity of a Title Agent.
