Job Summary
The Liberty County Board of Commissioners seeking responsible and customer-focused candidates for the part-time position of Assistant Facility Manager within the Recreation Department. This position is responsible for providing an excellent customer experience to visitors of the Liberty County Community Complex in Midway, Georgia.
Major Job Duties
- Coordinates various events at the facility.
- Sets up and disassembles for events.
- Processes applications for enrollment and receives/monitors monthly payments for LCRD programs.
- Provides limited services such as building permits; business licenses; Tax Assessment information; and car tags.
- Submits work orders as needed.
- Makes deposits for Liberty County.
- Performs related duties as required.
Knowledge and Skills Required
- Knowledge of customer service practices and principles.
- Knowledge of current office practices and procedures.
- Knowledge of computers and job-related software programs.
- Knowledge of local offices; city; and county departments.
- Skill in interpersonal communication and relations.
- Skill in oral and written communication.
- Skill in using standard office equipment.
- Skill in basic math.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree preferred.
- At least two (2) years of related experience required.
- Possession of a valid Georgia driver's license and acceptable MVR record.
Physical Requirements
- The employee occasionally lifts light and heavy objects.
- The work is typically performed in an office; stockroom; or outdoors occasionally in inclement weather.
Salary & Benefits
This is a part-time position with a pay grade of 12A or $19.30 hourly working up to 28 hours per week. Being a part-time position, there are no benefits.
The work schedule is typically 3:00 – 9:00 PM but may vary to include weekends and evenings depending on LCRD programs, rentals, or duties assigned.
