QUALIFICATIONS: · Must be certified through the Georgia High Schools Athletic Association (GHSAA) to be a Community (Lay) Coach · Must pass the Criminal Background check and meet all hiring requirements established by LCSS · Knowledge of the technical aspects of sport applying to · Experience coaching and playing the sport preferred · Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may find acceptable and appropriate
RESPONSIBILITIES: · Support the Head Coach in specific aspects of an athletic program · Provide instruction on skills and techniques · Ability to communicate with team and parents · Positive Role model to students · Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach, Principal, or Superintentdent of Schools
