Job Title : Custodian

Reports to : Building Principal

Terms of Employment : 255-Day Calendar / Salary is commensurate with verifiable years of experience.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Work experience as a custodian, familiarity with chemical safety, floor cleaning / care procedures and the use of appropriate machinery.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent of Schools may find appropriate and acceptable.

Physical Requirements :

Able to perform routine physical activities that are required to fulfill job responsibilities including :

Medium Work : Exerting 100 pounds of force occasionally, and / or up to 50 pounds of force frequently and / or up to 20 pounds as needed to move objects.

Evaluation : Performance of this job will be evaluated annually by the principal in accordance with the provisions of the Board's policy on classified evaluation.
