What are the responsibilities and job description for the SY Paraprofessional Pool - All Elementary Schools position at Liberty County Schools, GA?
Job Goal : To assist the teacher in maintaining appropriate classroom activities and environment in order that students may learn effectively.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- High school diploma or GED certificate.
- Demonstrated aptitude for work to be performed.
- Hold an associate's degree or higer in any subject from a GaPSC-accepted accredited institution; or
- Have completed two (2) years of college coursework (60 semester hours) above the remedial level with a grade of "C" or better at a GaPSC-accepted accredited institution or
- Passed the GACE Paraprofessional Assessment.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
In person classroom instruction.

Physical Requirements :
Able to perform routine physical activities that are required to fulfill job responsibilities including :
Medium Work : Exerting 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and / or up to 10 pounds as needed to move objects.
Evaluation :
Performance of this job will be evaluated annually by the principal in accordance with the provisions of the Board's policy on classified evaluation.
