Summary
Responsible for originating commercial real estate senior loans and preferred equity, by utilizing an established network of brokers, intermediaries, and bankers as well as creating new business channels in order to generate >$50 million in annual commercial loan originations across the eastern United States.
Responsibilities
- Serves as official representative and point of contact in the commercial loan markets where Liberty SBF participates and lends
- Collects commercial loan requests and financing packages for middle market property investors and small businesses that meet the parameters of Liberty SBF’s credit box
- Stays in contact with Liberty SBF’s broad network of loan referral sources to monitor ensure consistent deal flow, and track developments in market dynamics
- Utilizes a broad array of marketing channels to expand Liberty SBF’s market presence and reach
- Leverages market knowledge and existing professional network to generate high quality leads and develop new relationships for Liberty SBF
- Screens potential lending opportunities by applying diverse knowledge of commercial credit in order to elevate only quality transactions to credit manager for loan underwriting
- Remains involved in every step of loan origination, underwriting, and closing processes in order to ensure strong customer service and smooth operational execution
- Participates in industry events and associations on behalf of Liberty SBF
- Shares market knowledge and disseminates information about industry, trends and capital markets in order to generate new business ideas that lead to attractive investment opportunities
- Manages team of sales associates to maximize their lead generation and deal sourcing production. Takes a pro-active role in developing junior sales talent and building a team-oriented origination culture
Qualifications
- Experience: 10 years in commercial real estate lending, with focus in sales, origination and relationship management
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in business, accounting or finance
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
Salary : $125,000 - $175,000
