About the Role:
As VP Actuarial Services & Analytics at Liberty Dental Plan, you'll spearhead the development, evaluation, and implementation of pricing strategies. Your influential leadership will shape our approach in dental, healthcare, and other industries, ensuring we stay ahead with cutting-edge methodologies and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Pricing Development: Develop robust pricing strategies tailored to various markets and services, collaborating closely with teams across Marketing, Finance, Sales, and more.
- Actuarial Excellence: Lead our actuarial and underwriting teams, providing strategic insights to support decision-making and financial leadership.
- Market Insight and Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes, adjusting our strategies to maintain competitive advantage.
- External Engagement: Foster key relationships with external partners and clients, driving collaborative success and expanding our influence.
What You Bring:
- Expertise: Minimum 14 years in healthcare underwriting, product pricing, and financial analysis, with a track record of progressive leadership.
- Qualifications: Certified Actuary (ASA required, FSA preferred) with a strong educational background (graduate degree preferred).
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of healthcare pricing and managed care, ideally with experience in dental and health insurance.
- Innovative Mindset: Proven success in developing innovative pricing strategies and adapting to market dynamics.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate complex financial analyses effectively, both internally and externally.

Compensation
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary for this position is $300,000 - $425,000, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. If you are hired at Liberty, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any, final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
