Position: Paraprofessional 1:1 -- Home Based
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to students within the school.
- Assist students with varying needs, ensuring their safety, well-being, and engagement in educational activities.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other staff members to implement individualized plans.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere for students to thrive academically and socially.
- Maintain clear communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
- Adhere to all school policies and guidelines, especially those related to health and safety.
Requirements:
- High school
- Prior experience working with children, preferably in an educational or caregiving capacity.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to establish a rapport with students.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Flexibility and adaptability to address changing student needs.
