General Statement of Responsibilities
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) gives guidance in developing and maintaining a total school health program. She / he works with the administration to properly direct and carry out appropriate health services activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Current license to practice as a professional Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Arizona
- Current CPR / First-Aid Certification
- Recent experience in public health, school nursing, and / or maternal child-health nursing preferred
- Must possess good verbal, written, and human relation skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to work independently
- Effective organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with employees, community, and staff
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable

10 months (172days) 2024-2025 School Secretary and Health Office Work Calendar
8.75 hours per day / Monday-Thursday, 5 hours on working Friday's per work calendar

Compensation
Level 6 on the 2024-2025 Support Staff Wage Schedule ($17.77-$18.66 per hour)
