GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Provide courteous customer service to parents and community members.
- Process enrollment and withdrawal of students at district office including entry into student information system.
- Ensure the school's student information system is accurate and up to date.
- Ensure that data is entered into the student information system according to Arizona Revised Statutes and District procedures.
- Run validation reports as per District procedures and correct any errors.
- Submit student information to the Arizona Department of Education as per the rules of submission.
- Process student enrollment packets / records including filing and copying relevant items to teachers and other staff.
- Assist with maintaining accurate student permanent records and cumulative files.
- Maintain adequate and accurate paper records related to student information for history and audit purposes.
- Assist with daily attendance submitted by teachers including phone calls to guardians for absent students when necessary.
- Process records requests from other school districts / agencies.
- Request records for students who have transferred to assigned school.
- Provide student information in the form of exports, reports or other formats to schools and district office as needed.
- Reconcile student data to ensure data integrity.
- Attend professional development sessions and seminars as requested by the Director of Technology Services.
- Represent the district in a professional manner, and in the best interests of the district.
- Perform additional duties and accept other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Director of Technology Services.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, to use hands to handle or feel objects or controls and use a keyboard or keypad or mouse. The employee occasionally is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to sit, and is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to ten pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to fifty pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must regularly view a computer screen to input information.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The employee regularly works indoors.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Able to communicate effectively with staff, students, and community members including parents. Fluent in Spanish is preferred.
