What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scanning Specialist position at LIBERTY FEDERAL CREDIT UNION?
Liberty FCU is currently seeking a Scanning Specialist to efficiently perform quality control procedures and accurately image/scan all incoming documents. The candidate must have the ability to work independently and as a team. Attention to detail, time-management, computer skills, organization and prioritizing of work are essential to this position. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must work well with others and be a supportive asset to the department
- Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time and walk to other departments as needed.
- Participate in all the areas of the scan to shred process: Scan, Index, Quality Control, Log and Shred in accordance with each department’s retention requirements. This includes but is not limited to: Accounting, Asset Protection, Card Services, Deposit Operations, Direct Lending, Indirect Lending, Loan Servicing, Mortgages, Specialty Accounts, ETC.
- Scan, Index, Quality Control, Log and Shred historical documents from all areas of the credit union.
- Scan proof of insurance documents in a timely manner.
- Assist various branches and departments with scanning questions.
- Contact individuals regarding documents needed for scanning via phone or e-mail.
- Display discretion with confidential member information.
- Knowledge of Excel and Word is a plus.
- Understand retention system, Nautilus, and any other system used to efficiently store documents.
- Any other duties assigned by my supervisor or management.
