We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Automotive Sales Representative to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for understanding and demonstrating vehicle characteristics, capabilities, and features. You will also help develop and qualify buyers, ensuring an exceptional customer experience. This position offers a competitive base salary of $2,500 per month, and you could potentially earn up to $85,000 annually through commission.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES

- Product knowledge: Understand Ford's product line by studying vehicles' characteristics, capabilities, and features while comparing and contrasting competitive models.
- Customer Engagement: Greet and assist all customers who enter the dealership showroom or sales lot, ensuring a welcoming and positive experience.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to read and write. Ability to comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, memos, safety rules, operating, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Professionally conducts oneself, extending every polite custom and courtesy to all customers.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers.
- Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, and percentages.
- Basic MS Office knowledge, computer software, and internet proficiency.
- Excellent appearance, verbal/written communication, strong negotiation and presentation skills.
EDUCATION
- High School degree or equivalent preferred
- Valid Drivers license that meets dealership insurability requirements
EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate must have a strong desire to succeed. Our automotive sales representatives come from a variety of backgrounds and industries. You don't have to have automotive sales experience to be successful, but you should have experience providing exceptional customer service, and previous sales experience is a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to walk the sales lot and showroom to review inventory and greet customers for at least 8 hours in a shift. Must be able to lift at least 15 pounds on occasion. Must be able to push, pull, and reach with hands and arms. Must have close and distant vision. Must be able to drive company vehicles. You must be able to type.
