Job Description
The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, and control of the manufacturing processes. They ensure that goods and services are produced efficiently and that the correct amount is produced at the right cost and level of equity Additional job requirements are as follows:
· Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand.
· Plan and coordinate production processes to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
· Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance productivity.
· Monitor and improve production processes for cost efficiency, speed, and quality.
· Ensure that production meets quality standards and regulations.
· Collaborate with quality assurance team to develop and implement quality control processes.
· Address and resolve any quality issues that arise during production.
· Supervise, motivate, and train production staff.
· Assign tasks to production team and monitor their performance.
· Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
· Manage manufacturing budget.
· Monitor expenses and ensure that production costs are kept within budget.
· Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
· Ensure that the manufacturing facility complies with all health and safety regulations.
· Oversee inventory levels to ensure that materials are available for production.
· Minimize inventory waste and ensure use of resources.
· Prepare regular reports on production performance, including productivity, quality and cost metrics.
· Present production data and improvement plans to senior management.
EDUCATION, SKILLS & TRAINING
· Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering or related field a plus but
not required.
· Proven experience as a Manufacturing Manager or in a similar role
· Strong knowledge of production management, manufacturing processes, and quality control.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
· Knowledge of Aviation industry a plus
