Introduction:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable CMT to join our team and provide high-quality care to our patients. The Certified Nursing Assistant will assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication management, and provide ongoing support and monitoring to ensure that patients receive the best possible care. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
Certified Medication Technicians (CMTs) are responsible for
- Verifying the identity of patients receiving medication and recording the name of drug, dosage, and time of administration on specified forms or records.
- Administering prescribed medications to patients and maintaining related medical records under immediate supervision.
- Performing personal care services with medication administration for clients as necessary to maintain their personal comfort and accurately report client responses to treatments under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
- Taking the patients’ information in outpatient departments and verifying the need for the requested medication.
Qualifications:
Certified Nursing Assistant or Health Care Aid certification preferredMinimum of 1 year of experience as a CMT
Compassionate and patient demeanor
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow care plans and adhere to medication schedules
Ability to lift and assist patients with mobility, as needed
