Hospice Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Type: Full Time
- Apply theoretical knowledge of nursing concepts.
- Ensure patient care and documentation meet reimbursement guidelines.
- Coordinate patient care with family, patient, physician, and hospice team members.
- Attend interdisciplinary team meetings and quality reviews as scheduled.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in state of practice.
- Completion of a nursing education program from an accredited school.
- Two years of clinical nursing experience, with at least one year in hospice nursing preferred.
- Familiarity with home health and hospice care programs and the nurse's role within the patient care team.
- A working understanding of nursing principles and practices according to the nursing practice act, agency policies, and procedures, and reimbursement guidelines.
We require flexibility for travel based on agency need, including weekend/evening and holiday call assignments.
